There you go Kev - a result and I don't have to lie on the floor squinting up under my filthy bike trying to measure my new links - 125mm the man says
After my short 50 miler on Saturday I put together an intesting mix of 170 miles of gravel strewn forestry tracks - single track hill roads and fast sweeping 'A' roads on Sunday in SW Scotland.
First pic is on the side of Loch Doon near the start of the Galloway Forest Trail ---
Next one is 15 miles later at Loch Braden near the far end of the trail - I must have enjoyed it - the ruefull smile was because of my many attempts at taking a pic with the camera on auto - 10 secs delay is sometimes not enough (lol)
A few miles later it rained ---
But not for long - had a crackin ride in the wet over the top and down the long single track into Glen Trool to visit Bruce's Stone ---
It was one of those days where I was singing all the way - even or especially in the rain ---
And when I arrived home at Kirkcudbright the tide was in and the sun was shining ---
A great day out and my recent mods suited me just fine - the taller screen and Shark helmet mean't that for the first time on the Tenere I didn't use ear plugs - another result!
cheers - givit
