I can get 220 miles before reserve which leaves quite a bit in reserve.
The tank range is one of my personal prerequisites for a bike as well as the carrying capacity.
The rear subframe is designed for panniers and if you look closely and measure the pipework, which incidentally goes all of the way to the underneath of the rear carrier, you will see that it is again one of the strongest in it's class. In fact is considerably stronger than the new BMW's.
Again for touring the rolling chassis is one of the best in class well equipped and overbraked. Coupled with a well proven engine that has long service intervals and loads of upgrades to personalise your bike at reasonable prices, this bike has to be at the top of your wish list.
