Well since we went up to the high country for the queens birthday weekend as i stated earlier we got to see the huts with some snow on them, only a little bit of snow at this stage... enough to cause havoc getting up to the huts as the 4WD's had compacted the snow on the wheel tracks to ice, that meant we were just passengers on the bikes in some spots.
