I just came back from Yamaha Dealer here in Bucharest after doing the second service interval at 7300km (4500miles) (first one was made by the previous owner at 600miles). I just wanted to be on the safe side and also I want to start moding the bike so for warranty purposes I went for the service sooner.
I bought the oil myself Motul 10W40 7100 MA2 full synthetic and I found out from the Motul importer that Yamalube is actually Motul 5100 semisynthetic oil.
So Motul 7100 10W40 MA2 and OEM filter.
