Turbulence is a tricky issue, as it depends a lot on your height, riding position and helmet.

for me the turbulence was also caused by air coming up behind the forks. I solved it by installing one of these on the handle bars:

For me it resulted in less turbulence and some extra storage space as a bonus (or is it the other way around?)
