Wont have anything to do with your speed. I always ride hard & fast ('cept when I've got the Mrs pillion) & I've had mine on for over three years/35000kms. Went on a 4.5 hour ride on Sunday & my average speed was 80mph

The only problem I've had with them is the connecting link on the underside of the bike. The diameter of the CCC pipe is a bit too wide for the header pipe, & the clamp doesn't do the job well either.
