I stretched the cover over the seat and tacked it with a staple at the front and back then a staple in the middle of each side.

Then I stretched the seat and put a staple between each of these four (always stapling the diagonally opposite sides next, and stretching the material as you staple) and carried on putting staples between each of the groups that had just done until I had stapled all the way round.

If you want to tighten it a little after you have finished it, carefully take a hair dryer to it. I managed it, and I'd never done it before.
