Evening all, hope you are all well. We will be purchasing a new tenere in South Africa in a few months time and the wife and I are planning on spending on 6 months riding up to Ethiopia. I have come across forums and mention of the fact that stiffer springs are essential for two up long distance travelling. To this end I came across Hyperpro springs and they run some sort of progression system. Can anyone tell me if this is actually accomplishing what I am trying to do? I need this bike to be set up for everything for a two-up 6 month trip and we will doing some serious roads too. Am I better getting an Ohlins rear shock or will these springs suffice?

I would greatly appreciate any advise on these springs and their validity.
