As said before its mainly down to how you ride your bike but also where you ride it, stop start journeys are always going to give you lower mpg than longer ones where theres less stop/starting involued.

60mpg is a good figure anyway from an offset but if your wanting an easy fix to get higher mpg buy a larger front or smaller rear sprocket to up the gearing and this will also give you more mpg
