Thanks to all for the responses, this site is wicked and I will be becoming a supporting member very shortly!
XT660's might not be perfect from the crate but all that means is that we can tinker with them to our hearts content!
The thing I'm most impressed with is that they have character which a lot of the old XT600s were critisised for not having after the original XT500.
