Hi SKUNK,
i am hope to fit a power socket to the bike permenantly. But not full 12V fag lighter size. I am going to fit a smaller DIN socket that will have a DIN plug on one end going the a female 12V fag lighter socket for the SATNAV power lead to plug into.
Doing this for two reasons:-
1# the din is a bit shallower in dept so should be easier to fit.
2# the power connector from the SATNAV is quite large and does not look to be weather proof, so i wanted to keep it in the bag under cover.
