Careful with too big a change as it can lead to something rubbing (usually the shock/spring on the swingarm) . I seem to recall a few threads on here which may be in the subscribers sections? regarding lowering links.
I'd perserve with it for a while before making the change, try the butt cheek shuffle to get a foot down when coming to a stop, works wonders for the balance skills , ps i'm a 31" inside leg, as that its the one that counts

, and can managed to paddle ok with trail boots on . Note if new the suspension does soften and sag more after a few miles running in.
