Speedo out

Yours is not the only speedo out by that much, having read your post I thought I would try the same, and as you said an indicated 77 mph on the clock is 70 mph by the gps, makes you wonder, can it be that difficult to produce a set of clocks that work as good as they look.

All speedos over read by approx 10%, this is to allow for tyre wear & other factors.

If the speedo read 100% with a brand new tyre what would it read with a 80% worn tyre, it would over read.

But I guess that only the speedo shows this lack of accuracy, odometres are usually accurate enough with the factory's setting.
