I fitted those spacers few days ago. I made the spacers myself from polyacetal (POM) round bar. I found 35mm diameter bar and I drilled 20mm hole in center. I also added few washers which was 37mm diameter so this solution seems to work also (so far) :)

A question for Kev, why the 20mm hole is needed?

Im sure kev will answer when he sees the post, but from what i can understand it to allow the air/oil to pass through to the top of the fork tube when it is compressed because if not then the oil/air would need to pass around the spacer and there is not that much room to allow for this espically when you start hitting the rough stuff and your suspension is going like this:seasaw:.

The 20mm hole is for reduced weight.

It also allowed me to post them at a cheaper cost, solid ones cost $10.00 more to post.:067:

I have just recently fitted a pair of Kevs spacers. I am very pleased with the quality of the product, plus the improvement it has made to the front end.

It feels so much more solid, and planted through corners, it's really surprised me. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

As an aside, I added the raisers from Kev too. Again, quality product, and for my opinion, it improves the looks, and as it makes it a little higher, that allows for the extra weight my bike is carrying over the rest of you guys.

Keep up the good work Kev, top man.

I would recommend those spacers also. Front end feels so much better than before :)

I USED TWO 21mm SOCKETS OUT OF MY TOOLBOX.. THEY ARE 38mm IN LENGTH AND HAVE GIVEN THE FRONT END A MUCH BETTER FEEL WHEN CORNERING AND REDUCED THE DIVING & SAG ALSO!! DOES MAKE FOR A SLIGHTLY ROUGHER RIDE ON PROPER DIRT, BUT I'M SO STOKED PUSHING THE FRONT HARDER INTO STREET CORNERS. :thumbsup[1]: :660: :notworthy:

Just gotta say how superb Kevs fork spacers are.

They arrived yesterday and I fitted them today at the same time as doing an oil change (I change mine half way between the 6000 mile services).

To say that they are good is an understatement and two up... well the bike handles the extra weight much better than before.

There is now no weave in the corners when pushing it, and the front end no longer dives like a submarine on breaking.

All in all it feels like the front suspension now matches the back (I have mine on position 3) giving a very balanced feel.

Nice one Kev!:applause:

Thanks for the feed back, glad you are happy with them.:bbq[1]:
