Wheel bearings are sealed to dust, sand and general road grime but 1500psi of water will get in and then can't get out. You might have seen stickers on some bikes stating not to pressure wash.

you can wash your bike with a power washer its as long as you dont point the nossle to close to the bearings or plastics etc or it will damage them. Did it with me Deauville untill on day coming home had a wobbly ride home got the mechnics. Do you wash your bike with a power hose?? eh yea, well dont put it up near the bearing or all the grease gets blown out.

Yea the bearing are sealed but the power of more new power washers will just move the seal and get in at the bearings and wash all the grease away!!!!
