Off roading gear?

Hello gentlemen, I recently dicovered miles of forest roads not far from my house and have been rapidly improving off road but I'm having one problem in particular. I can either close my visor and quickly start overheating or leave it open even a fraction and get insects in my eyes every five seconds.

Are goggles the way to go?

They do clear lenses and dark ones but i prefer these as they sharpen everything up

I like those yellow spex. They remind me of Harley riders and days at the range. I use similar on mountain bike.......but I don't look as bad asss as a Harley rider.

I wear em all year round on enduro bike as they keep your head cool with wind flow and far better all round vision than goggles

Chalk Two 14-06-18 14:08

Yep, I'll 'fess up on the vision thing. Not so bad on the trail but on the road goggles are a bit of a nuisance....for me anyway.

I actually dont mind goggles on the road but was gunna try and get a peaked helmet with visor as i now have a few road helmets to get rid of as i wont be using em
