I've got an O2 and fuel mod on the way. I may need to ask for more advice!
I did manage to remove the standard exhaust, and tail replaced with a single MTC and a tail tidy. Was hoping to fit the fueling mods and an air filter/snorkel mod and see how it goes from there. Thanks both btw. |
Mods are simples to fit..comes with instructions..

The fuel mod and 02 mod are really easy to fit. And kev instruction are simple to follow. I did stage one and two air filters snorkel mod and fitted the fuel and 02 mod. But I kept the Oem exhaust as I have bad ears from years of aftermarket exhaust. Kev paperwork gives you a Guide to what to set the fuel mod at.

I had been doing so well, fitted the O2 controller and DNA filter, removing the snorkel.
Went to fit the fuel mod but there is no room to fit it. The sensor, when disconnected sits out about 10mm from under the tank. How do I cut and connect it? Sorry, thanks in advance. |

Attachment 7133 I actually had to look real hard to spot mine..when the tanks back in place its hard to see.. No cutting of anything I just used more cable ties.:happy8: |
Cheers for the above. I've managed to fit the 02 controller it's the variable fuel mod I'm having the problem with.
The sensor directly under the tank which has to be connected to the fuel mod has no room for maneuver. Do I need to take the tank off? Ta. |

Sorry....if you follow Kev's instructions/pictures it will show you both where to cut and how to join the new wires .Basically you are splicing the mod into an established circuit.
If you take the left hand side panel off,the lock side(two 10mm bolts) that's where you cut and join the mod into the circuit. The mod,on my bike sits as shown with the wires cable tied to frame rail. I stuck in place with silicone. |
Ah, thanks alot I feel like a bit of a tool.
