Yes, there is a strong spark. Fuel is being pumped out of the tank as far as the Injector, the Spark Plug is bone dry.
I had all the Pc's connections off, all were good
I'm considering taking the the Power-commander off altogether and seeing if she will fire up.
Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully heard.
I don't know enough about the Fuel Injection/ PC to say what's at fault, hence my thoughts about taking the PC off.

Have you checked that the spur off the wiring loom to the fuel injector hasn't rubbed through and isn't shorting out on the RH frame rail? It is quite a common problem on the Z and gives similar trouble to what you are reporting.

I had to pack mine out with a foam pad...

Yes, have checked all the chaff areas and fitted foam buffer. No sign of arcing etc. Today I removed the PCV and the bike fired up and runs ok!
So it looks as though the PCV was somehow upset by the batt terminals being off/on/off/on a couple of times.

I'm glad she's a runner again but disappointed the PC appears so fragile.
It came from Off the R de and is only about a year old. Will see what they say. Thanks a million for your helpful suggestions.

follow up to above

Well I have received a new Power Commander from OTE and fitted it but not tested on the road.
OTE have to send the PC to Dyno-Jet Holland, all of which takes time. OTE kept me informed of what was happening, no one ever mentioned of course what problem they found. OTE put a generic map in and if it runs well I think I'll not bother with a rolling test, OTE had never heard of my Scorpion twin end cans!
I'll iet you know how it goes!
Bikes been on the table all the time. Hundays new blue poly cush rubbers are nearing my shores so I'll wait the arrival of them before testing the whole thing.
I gone down with cabin fever and need a ride to clear it!
