Front axel bolt question...
In the Haynes manual it shows the axel being torqued, for the XT660z, but, this being a bolt that needs an allen key fitting. So, please, how do/can you torque the axel with it being a allen key type end???? Thanks... :BangHead: (would like to post a picture too but just cannot find/see how!??) :smilies0943:

I use a set of Hex sockets like this...
http://www.toolstop.co.uk/components.../AK6561.V2.jpg If thats not available you can get a M14x20mm bolt and over torque (or weld or locktite) the nut/nuts onto the bolt to create an adapter that fits in the wheel hex and you can then use a conventional 14mm socket on the torque wrench to adjust it. Matt. commercially available adapter too...although not the correct size but you get the idea? http://content.motosport.com/images/.../X001-Y001.jpg |

Thanks for the help guys, I took the axle out using an old rusty 9/16th Allen key, the correct size is 14mm. Will get the proper gear this weekend... :)
