braided brake lines.?

Does anyone know where I can get a slightly longer upper brake line , it's a bit too tight with bar risers and hand guards. I obviously need one with the correct end fittings. Any advice appreciated! Steve

hi you can usually go to a well sorted workshop and they will have braided tubes, banjo and can press whatever length you want.

Speak to HEL http://www.helperformance.com/ and ask them.

The upper hose on the OE setup cannot be separated from the 'T' and the lower two hoses; it's one complete unit.

Your best options are:

1) HEL (as mentioned). Their standard "race" setup for the Ten, which has two separate lines running one to each caliper from the master cylinder, actually has plenty of slack to deal with moderate risers and handguards. The separate lines (without the rigid link) also give you a bit more flexibility in routing too.

2) Venhill. They make custom length hoses, but will work out more pricey than the above.

I'll second that. Great to deal with.

As Pleiades says, the standard race lines fit easily, even with the Renthal High Bars on.

That's great...I phoned Wemoto today and they suggested the 'race' set up, but I didn't realise it was 2 separate lines , which as you say will give the slack I need. Another problem solved by xt660.com!! Steve
