Also experienced buffeting with no real solution
Then I slowed down to where it's not a problem anymore, realized I see much more and are far more relaxed |
Very good work on averting the effects of buffeting behind the 660 screen Desert Racer.:048: I recently ran an old Kawasaki KLE 500, 1300k's on our Scrapheap Adventure Ride. Through a myriad of weather conditions, I was completely surprised by the lack of buffeting & on my torso & head with such a small screen, along with fitting an old set of "Quady" handlebars to give me a very upright riding position. Maybe the layered back headlight/fairing/screen, brought across from the GPZ road versions were the answer. I was pretty impressed on 1994 model bike ! The only big buffeting which annoys me whilst riding my XTZ, is when I'm closing in on high square "tauntliners" before I overtake. Getting by as quickly as you can & or stay back out their turbulance is my only answer! :sign13: I think I'll try drilling some holes in the screen  |
