Is does on the Tenere in diagnostic mode DO7, not sure about on the R/X, although I can't see why it would be any different? Does the counting process happen where the speedo would normally be displayed?

Well in that case 199 would seem likely to be the limit before it resets to 0 as that's the biggest number the LCD segments will allow on the speedo.

Mine went up to 999 then reset lol

Oooooo wait wait my bad it counts it in the bottom corner beside D07 lol said to my dealer ( of motorbikes) ;P he said it could be moisture so spent time the day cleaning the connections up :) baby steps I'll get it sorted

On the plus side I can never be done for speeding if the speedo is running faster than I'm actually doing lol

I don't understand? Are you sure the counting goes on in the area of the dash where the speed normally is displayed, bacause that cannot read any higher than 199? :102:

It's quite possible the R/X do read to 999, but surely it would have to be displayed elsewhere on the dash? Trip display? Odo display?

Sorry, I'm just being inquisitive now! ;)
