Rear was probably illegal for the last 900km Front was still legal but only just.I am Trying Bridgestone BT-014 both front and rear, will see how they go.

Guys am enjoyin readin about the tyres, but gonna no do that....do whit ye ask !!!!!! Write in Red...as its very sore on the eyes....

Tried to get to their website http://www.essentialrubber.co.uk/ but no longer there. Are they still in business? I see Busters have also stopped selling the Avon Distanzia now also.

Anyone tried Micelin Pilot Road, I hear they work well, a friend has them on his BMW 1150 GS and loves them.

I love the look of the avon,but still feel the tread looks fairly rugged compared to the pirelli. So the point im getting at is ... Noise . Nobody has commented on noise level of any of the described tyres. Is this because there is no noise, or knobody bothered, or everyones blasting around with no baffles in exhaust so cant hear anything !!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE !!!
Standard pirellis fitted from new, with mileage now at 1600. Rear probably got another 200 left, front still pukka.
