I bought short as that was the only link i found... but the standar lever didn't seem to offer an improvement when i first tested the bike (only for 1 mile).

I didn't think i'd be able to fit longer ones due to having the handguards fitted.

However, the handguards are being removed next week as they really do affect the handling badly at full throttle and 70-90mph i think. I felt the same on other X's and felt the same yesterday, they sort of amplify any movement, espeically mid corner adjustments, they make them worse.

The choice then will be, do the pads improve things... if not... i'll get an Accosatto radial or Brembo RCS...

but i was also looking at these MAguras.... nice...

I don't use the back mate, it's of no significance to me regarding my concerns...

I'm hoping the pads will sort me out... possibly a bleed too.

Fitted the new SBS brake pads today... JEEEZ !!! The difference is immense... the bike actually stops perfectly now. (Well, after a minor issue with the spring in the lever). It would appear the Brembo pads that were fitted must have somehow become contaminated in the past.

Also removed the handguards and lowered the pressures slightly, both of these make a massive difference overall to the handling and the bike is now riding brilliantly :)
Top day :)
