G'Day, Phil. Nice photos.
Can I ask about your garmin, what are the wires around it. I thought that type of outdoor garmin only operated on batteries and also, how have you mounted your gps? |
Cheers AA
The 60CSx can be use with both , it has 3 ports on the back One for an extra anttena and these two the left hand one is what i use , its really for transffering data but works , the right hand one is the real mains power point but i think this is for the touretech type cradles https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-1...o/IMG_1642.JPG The mount is a RAM https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-I...o/IMG_1636.JPG https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-h...o/IMG_1638.JPG And a 12v https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Q...o/IMG_1643.JPG Its a great little GPS, tough and quite easy to use , even for a Ludit like me !!! Thanks, Phil. Great detail!

Nice report Phil! Look at those blue skies!
I've got the same Garmin and use one of these to power it on longer trips. It uses the 4 pin connector and is bang on. |
