Thanks forsharing mate. Looks like you got a nice setup in there.

Why are you considering bar risers? Which is your height? I have been thinking about it, but havent really had the chance yet to try riding the bike standing and check whether I would need them.

The pivotpegs are a bit lower than standard footpegs but I still feel that handlebar is to low when standing up. I'm ~1,90m On my XTZ750 I have fitted a "high" Fehling Cross from Louis:
http://www.louis.de/index.php?media=...r_gr=10021161/ It has taken a few low speed offs without bending. It was a bit to wide for my liking so I've cut a few cm of each side. For now I will stick with the org bar on the pony and just uses risers.

I've read somewhere (probably another thread here or in an online store) that the standard cables can handle a 30mm increase. So that it what the mailman has brought me today.

It is not rocket science so just one of the cheapest option including postage to me in Denmark.

Btw a small update with regards to barkbusters - DONT try to use the steering lock on an ABS version. The inner nut on the bar will touch the tank and damage the paint - as i found out yesterday evening :-( To get more clearance for the bolt one needs to have the guards lower, but then the guard will touch the tank instead..

Well the risers will cure that as well.

As can be seen below i could'nt just have turned the guard more downwards to get the bolt clear. If i had th bar itselv would have touched the tank ...

Its was a 15 minute job to add the risers. Including finding the tools and taking before and after pictures. Most time probably spent considering how far forward/backwards i wanted the bar :-)

A few before and after pictures of the left side. The right was similar so won't bother you with those. First the alu guard close to the tank.

Then the nut that got to close:

and the clearance by the instruments

After two months, an update on the Vibranator topic.
I only had time to try to install them last week.

Straight to the point, I will have to return then. Just to recall , I ordered this model after being recommended by Don, the owner of the shop:

I asked him because my Ten has Barkbuster handguards and external weights on.

The thing is that the vibranator will not fit inside the handlebar, since they are approx. 150mm diamater. Here a pic:

Also, the screw was not long enough to screw the vibranator after passing the screw through the external weight and the handguard:

So I will see whether I get a replacement or refund.
Will keep you posted.

Cheers
