front end is now done, now taken off the grey side plates, either going to paint or carbon wrap, the rear end is also off, hate the grey..

Blimey looks great!!! does anyone know if I could fit a larger tank to my XT660X cos the standard 15L is a joke. Can I fit the Tenere tank?? Thanks ciao Simon

all that's left now is the paint the motec bars and yam protectors silver..

The white tank and tank protectors look awesome on the bike :thumbsup:
But imho the carbon wrapped and shiny black parts don't really suit it. I would go for a flat black paint for all of those. |
the carbon was a matt finish, but I sprayed it with 2k lacquer lol...to be honest im messing around with different finishes atm...
guys im not sure if im selling this but any idea on its value if I decide, its had a load of extras.. custom paint job acros (cats taken out straight through) with bungs HID main beam power commander with switch on bars, flick between maps DNA 1, 2 and 3 center stand yam crash bars motech crash bars alu sump guard (I think genuine yam one) cant remember.. touring screen full panniers including top box pro taper bars and risers heated grips (oxford) new battery (now on optimisor The mileage is 2100, not turned a wheel in 3 1/2 years might be more but that's about it for now.. forgot its got a inline fusebox, one 12v supply in, allows you to run other fused supplies from it snazzy bit of kit.. mini spots aswell |
