Hi all,

Been wanting to go to Morocco for some time but work and other things have always got in the way. Read this thread a while back and kinda forgot but read Minkyheads post (cheers) on ABR the other day and remembered. A change in work circumstances means I can possibly come.

Room for one more tenere chaps?

Cheers,

Al

Cheers Ohlins, if it's that easy then I'm in!

Gonna book the ferry and just wanted to check you guys are still on for an RV in Manzanares on 21st Oct. Also, what date you thinking of leaving Morocco? I'm looking at the ferry from Plymouth on 20th Oct and the return one on 6th Nov.

Yip..that's correct. Those are the dates to book. Roger who is going(and has just booked the same ferry)lives in Plymouth and has offered a place to bed down for the night before thus saving some money there. He's looking to see if he can find a discount code to save a few more creds. We'll leave Maroc a couple fo days beofre to allow time to get the return ferry home. If anyone plans to leave beofre that datet then they can stay at my house here.(We have a Southern Irish rider doing just that after he rides down from Cherbourg)

That moto is the same as mine!!

Let me know what you think.

Keith

Hi Bernard

We should be there for those dates for sure. I know the hotel normally used by Desert Rose from memory..when I rode for Redtread (on those red motos)we used the one beside. I have scheduled a rest/exploring day whilst there which would now allow us to spectate the rally if it's close by that is. Good to know that it's on..thanks for the info.

That's the only planning really except to be in Zagora on the 27th ish...after that more winging it!!!

Hope to see you for a blether...from all the way from Newtownards to Newry to Merzouga!!! its a small world :)

Not to question our Illustrious leader in anyway but I live in PLYMOUTH not Portsmouth that's a 160 odd miles away, he's even called in for a cuppa.
Yep if anyone wants to crash at mine, before catching the ferry the next day you're very welcome. Free bacon butties but you will probably need to use your own sleeping bag.

Oh yes if anyone has a discount code for Brittany ferries, that would be great, I got one of the web but they wanted the holders surname which I didn't have-saves 10%. Beer tokens for the ferry I guess..
