Hey John, welcome to the forum buddy. I am in bracknell/reading if you up for a ride sometime. Also went from a wr to the xt. I miss the bmx like qualities of the wr but the 660 hides it weight well once you get used to it. They are a brilliant all round bike and will scratch/commute/tour/etc happily all day long! Best thing you can do is to get riding and get to know her, a bit like having a new gf, got to work out where the g spots are ;)

Yeah hi and welcome and u will get used to the weight soon enough, of course it all depends what you are used to riding. Take care and you will have loads of fun.
