.....the different opinions over mpg is what distinguishes the weekend warriors from the high milers??? (Light blue touch paper and stand well back!!:p)

For me, my motorbike is a tax deductable expense. Mpg is an area that can help optimize profit margins given the higher than average mileage I cover each year.

The mpg of the Tenere compared to the DR800 I was using before meant that it has paid for itself in fuel savings alone (added reliability was a big bonus as well!)
