Not really, aside from the engine.

The CCM chassis will be lighter, and the suspension will be much, much higher spec - more or less the same as you'd find on a KTM of similar age. The Suzuki suspension will be rubbish.

The trade-off is that the CCM is built by a couple of blokes in an industrial unit in Blackburn, with all the build quality implications that involves.

The engine in the CCM644 is the one from the XF650 Freewind. Not sure how that differs from the DR650 lump.


CCM are still (again?) trading, although it seems they're mostly putting their badge on chinese CRF230 copies. Not sure what they're producing of their own.
