At 1yr old, there is no reason to have it changed, unless you are in some adverse climate.
Mine too looked like it was a brake fluid spill, but on the other side (so no chance really). It was down to bad preparation of the raw alloy, and no etching/primer coat.
The first place the flaking was evident, was where the wash off the tyre hit the swing arm, so I wasn't much bothered and accepted it might be down to my riding, O took out the wheel, put a key onto the alloy, cleaned off with cellulose thinners and applied Plastikot, which was the closest colour I could get to the swingarm. It lasted about a month before more came off, it was then I went to the dealer.
I pointed it out to my dealer, he thought it was shocking and pushed through a replacement swing arm.
I would have been happy with a re-paint, well actually, I think a repaint by a body shop would have been a better finish, but Yamaha went for a replacement swing arm, and unusually asked for the old one to be shipped back to them. Unusual as most times the dealer is told to dispose of warranty parts, so they must have wanted the old swingarm to do some checks on.
