Got my MTC exhaust!

Finally got my MTC single can and got it fitted. Quite the job compared to my previous bikes!

They sound great, but one question - are these considered road legal in most countries? They are *loud* :D Even with the db killer in place.

Has anyone been pulled over with these on?

Now, I always thought the can was loud too, but after asking others who were following, they said not.

I think it sounds louder on the bike, than off it, if you understand me. And the induction noise with the DNS filters makes it seam louder still.

But easily passed a UK MOT.

They certainly sound loud at 5.30am.

My bike always backfired a lot on the over run with the standard pipe but now even with the AIS blanked off livestock bolt and passers by are looking out for the gunman.

Not really suitable for greenlaning where you want to be as discreet as possible.

Still sounds ace though :icon_mrgreen:

I feel safer knowing people hear me coming with my MTC,
plus it means the wife knows when to get the kettle on !

Yeah mine knows to brew up when she hears me coming up the hill 5 mins before I get in!

Ok, couple of months with the MTC single now. It's still loud! :D

I don't suppose anyone has fitted some different db killers off of ebay in theirs or something? I've got the stock ones in but they are still way too loud for offroad riding. There is no surer way to get paths and roads blocked off than to make lots of noise

Do you notice any more power with the single can over the stock twin cans.

Can't really say that I did, no.
