Was that new? If it was please forward me the sellers I'd so I can have a gander as I in same boat can't be bothered messing. I have had a look and seen the acerbis ones but no mention of any weights etc

No mate that was from eBay. The champion guards are identical but the screw that comes with them is too large to use with the bar end weights.

It would be possible to use the champion guards and look for a longer screw to fit the original bar end weights though.
