Exactly what I did! And I made a excel file to hold all the data. I don't need a fancy app to do basic unit conversions :glasses1: This is the result.

I bought my Tenere in April /May 2011. I wrote down the mileage every fill-up. As you can see I have an average of 4.28 liter /100km or about 55mpg. I have an extra column in the excel sheet that shows the fuel consumption between every fill-up. But this varies a bit as there's no guarantee that you fill it up to the same level every single time. But over a longer period, the average should be ok.

Might give you guys an idea :)

Here my fuel economy spreadsheet. Mine starts flashing around 250km every time. My riding is mainly at about 118km/h on the speedo (actual 108km/h on my GPS) to and from work approx 20km one way. The temperature is pretty hot in my neck of the woods 25 degrees C at 5:30am and approx 30 degrees C at 6:45pm, that's going to work then home.

All sounds about right,

I can get as little as 200 miles on a tank if I'm loaded up and in a hurry and as much as 300 if I'm taking it easy on a run..
