Rear Brake Disc Wear
 

I just had an MOT and an advisory on my rear brake disc. The bike's (XTX05) done just under 35k. There is some wear and I'd say about a 2mm lip edge. Just wondering if they're being a tad over cautious or is it time to get a replacement? I've seen a lot worse to be honest.... :gbxtank:

About right, you should use around 4 sets of pads to one rotor.

I was doing a rear set of pads every 10000 KMS.

:026:OK new EBC rear disc is on... price inc P&P was only �52.02 thanks to XT660.com discount and delivered within 48hrs parcel force. I must admit I am very surprised that it's so quiet, no noises at all so far.... and I can feel the difference.. nice n smooth now....the 6 genuine Yam bolts for fitting which they suggest you replace cost nearly as much as the disc, they do come with Loctite on but still a right old Yammy price rip off... better safe than sorry :3chat:
