Quick update. The pro xtreme wet does last longer apparently, but Captn Moto also tells me it's not as nice as the distanzia in the dry, but way better in the wet. Mmmm.... I need to replace mine and winter is coming.
Watch your pressures closely. I'd let mine slip down a bit, and the front has worn before it's time. The leading edge wears on the blocks of tread. The tyre shop tell me it wouldn't have happened if I'd had the pressure a tad higher.

I've decided to go for the pro extreme rain on the front, with a distanzia on the back, it does feel very soft and sticky compared to my distanzia front, so i'll have to wait and see how long it lasts.
i've never wanted it to rain before to test my tyres, should be interesting.

The tyre feels a tad squirmy in corners in the dry at first as the blocks move around a bit, but now I'm used to it, it feels totally planted.
Confidence inspiring indeed.

In the wet, all good so far, going faster thru corners than before. It just doesn't feel like it's anywhere near letting go. Fantastic.
