09 Tenere

Bought mine new from Alan Duffus in Fife. Added a Givi top case, some hand guards, heated grips, camel toe and a Scotoiler.

It's the first 'sensible' bike I've owned and it's a revelation.

I'm thinking about a set of pipes, filter, Power Commander etc for it's second birthday this June. Does the stage three box go into a Tenere? Should I go stage 2 only or just snorkel removal, pipes and a DNA filter? Maybe I should just leave it as is and ride it but a nicer soundtrack and cleaner off/on fueling would be good.

Cheers...684

Second thoughts

Seems I'll be needing a Power Commander for any of the filter mods so that can wait until the warranty is out. I'm thinking stage 2 at that point - maybe.

Might put a pipe on in the Spring though - unless that too needs a PC - though it seems only the Acra's sit at what to me is the right angle and they aint cheep.

Cheers...AB

My fuel fuel mod works fine with the DNA stage 2 filter, the filters offer a nice gain in HP & Torque.

As for the warranty I would not worry at all about fitting the DNA filters, thousands of us have done it & have have no reported case of warranty been refused because of the DNA filters been fitted.
