No rails when I had the throwovers, much prefer the hard luggage option now I've got the 'very indulgent' Gobi panniers. Still think the SW Motech option is a good compromise if you want to be able to remove them when you're not toting stuff about.

Having only just been able to look at this pic, I dont think will be able to fit these side case holders as I will be removing the whole rear light/plate unit & fitting a tidy OTR led job. SJA, when you say scratched, exactly how badly did they scratch? I really dont want to mess my lovely CCC's up at all. Got any pics of the said scratches? Ta ;) |
Denny, apologies for the late reply just got back from a week in the Lake District. Anyway scratches never really got bad because I only did the one trip with throwovers and then fitted the HB rails and panniers. What it did was put very fine scratches in the plastic exhaust covers and a few small chips in the finish, like paint chips. Too small to photograph. I guess if you have a metal or carbon fibre finish on your new silencers that wouldn't be an issue. Pictures of the HB luggage at;

I'm gonna need them for summer anyway so I have plenty of time to make a decision. Thanks anyway :hello: |
I deal with both Givi and SW Motech through work, you can fit Givi luggage to the Sw Motech range you just needed to buy the adaptor plates. If your interested PM me as I can put some discounts together on the Givi boxes.
