Is it me or the bike??
I have done about 2K on my bike since i brought it two months ago, i expected the vibrations on my hands and maybe my feet, however after i have ridden for a while when i get off my privates are numb from the vibration :spanking[1]: :tearyeyed: and feels that i need the toilet with every step. Some times it is just the tip but most of the time its all of it!! I have tried different positions on the seat (further forward or further back) but to no prevail can anyone help!

Try a haemorroid cushion reversed so the U shape is to the front rather than the back. Gel is good, inflatable works. (Mate of mine - honest!!)

I am on my third XTX & have not had this problem.

I commute 25 miles each way on my XT R and yes vibes affect my wedding veg! maybe you could ask the Mrs to rub them when you get home, tell her its for medical reasons!!!
|
Maybe this problem might been dependent on the size of the package being transported so to speak :smirk:
So the personal effect may vary quite widely and probably explains why I don't seem to suffer too much either :sad10: |
I always had it down to the seat being so hard, reduces blood flow to veg parts, I get the same when I'm cycling and cycling in extreme cold weather just means sometimes when you need a piss you will just make a mess of yourself as your best friend has dissapeared
edit googled it! I new I had read something about it way back and not just dreamed up a medical answer to cover for me being so tiny! http://www.nature.com/ijir/journal/v.../3900929a.html |
I used to get a fizzy winky as well :toothy12:
|
I've never had any problems with vibrations or numbness downstairs but like most "all year riders" I do have trouble with him becoming a her in extreme cold!!
