I bet you wish you'd never asked, this thread is hilarious (change your name from newt to numb)... Capt have you nothing to say??? surely not....... and so it begins...

On a serious note (lol) sorry.. i did 501 miles (yes the 1 is important) back from north scotty back home in one day on my xtx back bottom numb at times but front bottom always OK obviously one need to do a tinkle here and there bet to get off the bike for this procedure.

First don't grip so hard with your hands and the vibes on the bar won't effect you so much, try to relax you feet and not force them down on the pegs this will also relieve some vibes, as for the front bottom issue, hmmmm is there a Gonad expert here on the forum please? I'm sure there is coz some people do talk a load of old b****cks (sorry couldn't resist)....

no pain no gain

has the bike got any mod? ie different exhaust,as mine is standard so no probs there.:017:

Newt 04-08-10 00:25

The mods i have are, MTC cans, stage 1 and 2 filters, kev fuel mod, o2 eliminator and the suspension spacers. Well when riding i always have to make my mind up if to hang it down the left side or right side of the seat LOL at least its not stoped my performance :Tosser::Tosser: :shsgging: :Tosser::Tosser:

Are you bragging or complaining? :064:

Interceptor 05-08-10 00:09

Spectacular thread - I wear padded leathers so I can cover hundreds of miles on an XTX and all I get is a stiff neck. I did 430 miles in 24 hours last weekend and not so much as a tingly digit.

I can only imagine benefits to having numb tackle ("Oh yes honey, I can last all night so long as I do sixty miles on my bike first") - you probably don't see it like this. I was trying to figure if 'package size' and engine speed might be setting up a harmonic vibration and was going to suggest a sprocket change to alter your engine revs at cruising speed - this might also be unhelpful.

Can I suggest you see a doctor and say the words 'Prostate exam'? It sounds like there is more to it if your arse and fingers aren't affected, usually they are the first to suffer.

Mebbe Newt should just sling it over his shoulder and see if that helps :p

Onanist 07-08-10 19:20

I'm with Interceptor's "harmonic" theory, however rather than messing with the gearing on the bike to change the natural harmonic frequency's between bike and balls, you could consider circumcision, works the same, just doesn't screw up the bike performance.
