That would be no use to googleing public, because unless they're registered members they can't read the content.

Its been a brilliant thread...the AF stuff is very topical, in fact that has made the thread, and I have enjoyed all the input.......and its been very educational too! Cheers Daz!

Now, what would be really interesting, as Kev (and you and Paul) are getting a copy of my map, is, if Kev comes up with some AF figures for my new map, (which will have a serviced AF meter on the Dyno,) we can compare them.

I know that Kev is reading his figures from the header (more accurate), whereas mine will be read from the silencer, but it would be interesting to see the difference. I bet there will be differences.

My bike has been on the dyno with these mods, so I know exactly where my bike produces the most HP & Torque, my wide band commander reads almost identical A/F ratio to the dyno I use, so I have no worries with my bike at all.

I have just about covered every mod on the dyno & know these bike pretty well to what they like, your bike & dyno runs are the only one that stands out from the crowd, hopefully it will get sorted this time.

When are going to the next stage +2mm throttle body, big bore kit, high lift cam or stroker crank. That's when this subject starts to rev up things. I will be busy working on different cam set ups next week which will shed more light to new grounds.

That's an exciting project Kev: cams.

Will be very interesting to see what you find.

Do you have a Vernier pulley or similar adjustment, so its easier to dial in?

I will be manually degreeing a cam to find a good balance in the RPM range. I know exactly how the standard & stage 1 hot cams behave, I now need a new project to keep myself occupied, I should have my new cam to test from the USA next week.

Is this for your present bike, like mine, or for your 700cc? Or both!!

Well thats a bummer!
I thought googlers can see this stuff, I guess not!

Their loss, should join and support to be honest :beer[1]:

I really need to get modding again, just a case of money and time. I want to be riding the bike rather than being off the road cause of mods.
Need to progress DIY Stage 3 and then possibly have a play with cams. But theres also aethetics like Tail tidy, crash bungs, water cooler etc, I would like too.

Big bores aren't of much interest to me at the moment unless I can get a direct bolt on no messing around kit for it which I doubt is available.

09 XTX 660cc, same mods as you have.

Out of the thousands of XT forum members their is only a hand full of us engine moding adventures.

Daz...whats the big deal with the water cooler.....you want it running hot not cool.......

richardsracingmad 10-08-10 12:33

I would consider:

Big Valve Head
Ported Head (HAS to be done by someone who knows)
Big Bore
Camshaft
