DIAG and Co Settings

Hi All

Fitted the Kev Mod and DNA Stage 1&2 over the weekend, and running heaps better now.

Can someone please confirm if the following settings seem correct? Would like to confirm this to ensure no damage is being done!!

Co1 = 19

d01 = 17
d03 = 102
d05 = 14 (this is with -7 using Kev Mod)
d06 = 20

If other DIAG settings should be included please let me know and I will get them

Cheers :023:

Looks fine to me.

It seems correct. Only a little doubt. d05 (air T) and d06 (water T) would be equal (if the bike is cold and at rest). So, after setting, if you want a -7, you have to set 13. Try to control. You can put to 0 the potentiometer and control if the two temperature are equal. If not, may be a difference starting by sensor tollerances.

Wow, thanks Gianni, thats a good eye for detail!! I will check them now and see if they are both at the same values

Means that air and water temperature sensors may have a tollerance of construction wich lead to a difference of 1 between the two.
Actual temperature of 20.5, if one read 20,4 and the other one 20,6
(normal tollerance for these items), you will read on display 20 in the first and 21 in the second. Are not extremely precise, but they serve their purpose.

In any case don't worry, it's only for precision, your value it's correct in any case.

I apologize if I have done confusion in your mind.

Ciao. Gianni. :hismiley::hismiley::hismiley:

lol no worries Gianni, confusion is sometimes good for the mind!! I now understand what you mean, and re checked the values and they were the same so maybe miss reading on my account or slight temp change during readings. In any case, thanks for the info ;)

Cheers!

CO mixture question

Evening everyone,

Just read through this thread with interest having wanted to do Kev's mod for fuel/CO mixture so Iwent down to check the reading on the wife and I's trip ready 07 XTRs.

My CO reading was 12 - I've now increased it to 25, but the wife's was 42!! Am I to assume that someone (previous owner) has really upped the mixture before? I'm assuming the 'standard' figure is fairly universal for these bikes and not unique. If that's the case would I be right in thinking that I need to lower her CO mixture to nearer 25?

In case it's relevant the bikes have both had the same mods: metal mule (scorpion) exhausts, K&N air filters.

Any light you can shed would be greatly appreciated.....

Most 07 models with O2 sensor are around -5 to +5 on the CO, 25 would be a better setting for a 07 model.
