The sort of review no one wants to hear.

My helmet did it's job and I'm still here to prove it. I paid a lot for it and I consider it money well spent.

I still have my old Nitro helmet sitting on a shelf and when I compair it to the Arai they are like chalk and cheese.

Now the Arai is going in the bin and I need a new helmet. I won't be looking for a cheap alternative. I'm happy to spend more than 300.00 again.

I've got one in all black and really like it. I found it a little noisy above a ton but that's not been such an issue since I threw the VFR in for the XTX :).

The internal visor is good at reducing the glare while still being legal, going into north Wales with a tinted visor is more trouble than it's worth these days. The flip up is just handy some times. A comfy lid with room for a bluetooth ear piece and mic built in as well.

I was there when Statiks Lid hit the deck and it hit hard... as did the bike and the rest of him.... I have always had Arai's and as he said, money well spent. Put a price on you head.

That's a fantastic deal Nelis! And you'll love that helmet, they are very comfortable...

Mind you, I'm a bit disappointed you didn't want a JMo replica x

Also, for anyone who may not have seen these, there is a very nice BYE helmet for any Tenere owners...

No UK distributor, but I'm sure you could get one from mainland Europe?

Shoei Raid 2, shinny black, got it from a forum member here as he didnt like it and only used it a couple of times. Its done the job now for over 2 years, inner lining is very comfy but doesnt remove so hasnt be washed yet!!!! The top vent even when closed made the helmet noisey so i stuck 2 ear plugs in them and it was sorted. Have a pin lock with it but must have worn out or something as when i first got it worked great now its cr*p and mists on top of the pin lock even at cool temps.

Sue saw the title the other day, and thought the same thing. It was all I could do to keep her of my PC..... She was soooooo disappointed when she found out what it was really about.:laughing11:

Yes the name could be a massive draw-back. I can see it now. :unibrow:
