Just to let everyone know my present 3rd generation fuel mod fits the XTZ, XTX & XTR, the only difference is the XTZ has different tunning settings to the XTX/R, otherwise the fuel mod is now exactly the same.

Unfortunately I am unable to update the main page on the forum at this stage do to technical problems & will do it as soon as possible.

I have also installed the Kev Mod, with a OTR foamfilter and stock exhaust. WOW! More power in the low revs, more agressive gasresponse!

I have installed the original intake without the rubber thing, fits perfect with the OTR foamfilter...its a bigger gap than the DNA! The bike roars like a lion!:041:

I have set the mod on 8:00 o'clock...seems the best setting.
I also have ordered a O2 Eliminator ( www.off-the-road.de).... i am curius what this Eliminator does!

Hi,

8:00 o'clock ? - I take it you turned it up after the picture was taken.

Cheers

Yep. 4 o'clock was too lean.

Hi again,

I wonder if the OTR foam filter has a higher capacity than the DNA st 1&2 then, as Kev recommends 4-5 o'clock for for the DNA set up. 8 o'clock is at the top of the stage 3 recommended set up - interesting!
I need a bit of education when judging if the bike is running too lean or otherwise - how do you judge this? Is it purely the colour of the exhaust outlet or the 'feel' of the bike - or both - Would appreciate some pointers.

Cheers,

Ian.

Ride the bike at a constant throttle opening & adjust the fuel mod to find the smoothest ride & leave it set there.

The mod setting also depends on your ambient temp, the lower the outside air temperature is the more resistance you need to apply to the fuel mod to correct the A/F ratio. My mod settings are a guide line as tested with a data logger at 20 degrees C, it is best to play with the mod to find what your bike likes you can safely go too the max setting if needed if your bike likes the extra fuel. The mod is designed so you cannot over fuel the bike to cause any damage.

Thanks for all your fed back guys.
