G'day Mr. Kev,
Quick question. I have an 2008 XTZ and the time has come to start tinkering it. Looking at going for the DNA filter, snorkel and air box cover and realize that I need your fuel mod. My brother has a 2004 XTX and he has purchased the mod from yourself but has changed bike since so my question is will his unused mod work ok with my bike ? Ta and keep up the good work. |

Hi Kev,
He purchased the resistor from this site. I've opened it up and the number stamped on it is 701. |

The resistor will have numbers stamped on the side of it what are the numbers, as there is 3 different versions of my fuel mod so I need to be sure you have the right one. Or use a multimeter & measure the resistance of the mod. |
Hi Kev,
It's green and states B 1K. 701 is also stamped on the side opposite the knob ! |

It won't work on your Z. |
Thanks for that Kev.
Ordering one now from this site. |
All boxed up ready for posting in the morning, 820pm here in Oz.

Cool.
Sweet Dreams then ! :) |
Another testimonial here:
got the Kev-mod today and fitted it the same evening together with DNA filter and airboxcover... turned the knob at 6 o'clock. ... and PRESTO!! The engine is far more 'spicy', tacho sweeps through the rev-range to hit the rev limiter in 1st, 2nd and 3th gear with ease. More grunt in lower rev range... more fun... and the same behaviour as my MT-03 with K&N, Akrapovic & PowerCommander. Still have the original silencer on, though it's cat is gone and there's a rather big hole in it.... it's going to be replaced soon by something else. HJ |
