Renthal enduro "high" bars

Bought a Renthal Enduro high handlebar yesterday for my XTR. "Quick-fitted" it last night just to check the cable lengths. I do have 15mm handlebar raisers fitted. Will definitely have to change the clutch cable and throttle cable lenghts (have new ones made up). The electrical wiring seems fine(need to confirm that). Any suggestions/warnings?

I did this 'cause i'm not comfortable standing on the pegs.

The change in bars shouldnt do much as long as you dont raise them. Its the raising the position that causes the problems as the clutch cable is just about long enough.

Just make sure your not pulling on the connections of the cables under the tank as the connectors are weak and in an exposed area so all the water and road crude gets in and corrodes them.

Thanks guys

I loosened and lifted the tank to take a peek at the wiring under it. I see what you mean, Maxwell.... The Renthal high bar is'nt much higher than the standard bar. I am not to sure if if it will be the height i want.

So, i'll run the throttle and clutch cables around the front of the tripple clamp for now, just to check the height. If i'm happy, i'll make them longer.....
