Look very much like the Avons in tread pattern.

Hod, how do you find the Escapes on your XT Good or Bad, TripleTom had them on his DR600 and hated them.
Cheers Logan |
Any feedback on the Conti Escapes, wet preformance etc
|
TenereDoug has them on his Z.

I have used them on a Africa Twin and there were very good in all conditions.
They felt better than Tourance. I now have a set ready to fit on the Tenere once the TKC80's are worn out, the TKC80's have now done 6000 miles and the front is only half worn and the rear looks to have a 1000 miles left in it .Result |
Hi
I've had these on my XTR for last 4k miles and will be swapping next week. They seemed to take a lot of breaking in. They're OK on dry warm roads. Seem to take a lot of warming up. Scare the crap out of me in the wet. Wouldn't buy again. Rear's almost worn out which is a lot less than the Anakee2s I had before (6k) I bought them because they looked cool. Think I'll be swapping to Tourance EXPs Rob |

we were 2 up full loaded bike and they were planted at 60 mph in very heavy rain , they never even twitched. maybe I'm getting OLD and ride like a ***** :015: |
My TKC's are approaching the end of their useful life.
I would consider these as the tread pattern looks as though it would be good for winter roads. ... but are they any use off-road? or are the blocks to close together? http://www.conti-online.com/generato.../escape_uv.gif |

To The point... NO mud or damp grass, no grip at all. Hard forest track's there OK, But there not a off road tyre. They are however very good on tarmac wet or dry. One thing I have noticed after two Rides around Scotland is that they seem to be wearing down quick, not sure yet if they will return the 6000+ miles That I got out of a rear TKC. |
