Stroker Crank

For anyone interested, the Hot Rods +5mm stroker crank for the raptor will NOT work in the XT. The the shaft that the starter clutch and rotor mounts on is longer on the XT.

That's what I have been looking for some info

Which Raptor crank is shown 660 or 700?

Is all the other dimentions the same, diameter of crank webs etc.

Looks like I am going to have to make my own stroker crank.

It's the 700 crank. Everything else looks the same but I haven't measured it. Can measure it up if you want.

Apologies for taking so long. Here are some more photos for comparrison. I've made a bunch of measurements (sa accrately as I could) of the XT crank and put it in a word document but its too big to add as an attatchment so will try and send it in an e-mail. Most of the dimensions are the same, looks like just the rotor shaft and the cam chain gear which is different size, but the gear still has the same number of teeth (23).

Hope we find a match!

PM sent, great work. I will forward the measurements to Kenny.

Many thanks to Shoemrich, I have converted your Word doc to a Jpeg. I have forwarded the measurements to Kenny.

Can I ask for one last measurement, length of the conrod centre to centre.

Terry can make us any size XT660 stroker cranks.

The length of the con rod centre to centre is 135mm.

Thanks mate.

Kev

Do you have a copy of the measurements still?
Also what is the maximum size of stroker crank to give 13.5:1 compression?
I guess the limiting factor is the piston skirt length.

The 660z is running fine at the mo with the new tight crankshaft key; but when it does go, would definitely look at a stroker big bore crank and piston. As well as changing out bearings and inspecting / replacing gears.

Many thanks

Fergus

Sorry I don't, we used 5mm stroker & you make any compression you want you just got to calculate the CR. Over 12.5:1 you cant use pump gas you need race fuel. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Raptor-7...04kD:rk:2:pf:0
