Touratech order
Hey, y'all! Placed an order with Touratech NL(Bert Duursma), the following items will be delivered shortly(I hope!):
-12v socket for electrical tyrepump/GPS connection; -adapterset and wide ribbed touring frontpegs; -Kahedo/Touratech tankbag; -some maps of Ukrane, Rumania/Moldavia and Poland. As soon they're in and attached/mounted, I'll post some pics. Greetz, Hans. |
Here some TT-pics of the ordered goodies.
|
sounds good - i'd be interested to hear your thoughts about the tankbag as it's one i'm considering myself.
cheers Pete |
I have made a new order to TT too; a couple of days ago.
The heat shield http://www.touratech.com/shops/001/p...66a67c90c17383, headlight protector and a cockpit nav panel. Still don't have a delivery note; but if all goes ok, I am hoping to order a few bits more from them; touring pegs are one of them. |
Just got an e-mail from Touratech NL: they ain't got all ordered parts in stock, so they back-ordered the missing ones in Germany. Should get the complete order within a week, wait and see!

Well, it's been two weeks now, they're waitin' for the tankbag, which is in backorder. The rest is in, but they'll wait 'till the tankbag arrives to send the complete order. Hmmm...okay. Patience is a virtue, ain't it?

2 months now for my sump guard and rear rack...........:disgust:
|
Ordered a large rar rack 3 weeks ago to the day and they said definately be with me in 6-10 days. Lying F**kers, they know the items are just not ready but mislead anyway. Recession times may just bite these cowboys in the ass in the UK. Their service is ****e.

Someone knows if Touratech send equipment from Brazil and if the cost will increase too much?
|
There are two countries in South America who do import Touratech stuff:
-Chile, e-mail: info@tagler.cl; -Mexico, e-mail: carlos.wieda@plantatoluca.com . You can try them, I suppose that's a cheaper way to go then ordering from Europe. But I don't know if they got the same delivery problems as we do overhere, if so be patient! Succes and greetz, Hans. |

I'll send an e-mail to know more about it. |
Just got a message today, that the missing part of my order has arrived in Holland, so they can send the complete order asap. Well, still wait and see! Been three weeks now, compared to other horror-stories, that ain't that bad?
Greetz, Hans. P.s.: post some piccies. when everything's installed. |
I got fed up with the wait today for my sump guard... Its been well over 2 months since i ordered it so rang them and told them to poke it, i'll get one from yamaha... Why put it in the TT book if the parts are not ready!!!! :093::cussing::violence::angry:

Hey, y'all! Got my complete Touratech order today! Adapters&ribbed wide footpegs, 12v plug-in, tankbag and some maps of Poland, Ukrane and Rumania(for my trip in june/july). Post piccies asap, when everything is fitted. All in all it took 5 weeks, due to not available tankbag('till last week). Everything looks good and solid, worth waitin'!
Greetz, Hans. |
Lil' bit late, but here some pics of the Touratech pegs and 12v plug-in. The bike looks a tad dirty, 'cause I had an Allroad training session today, lots of fun!
Greetz, Hans. P.s.: did not fit the tankbag yet. P.s.: @Josephau: there were not more vibes as compared to the original pegs(and they didn't had any), not on the offroad tracks and backroads, not on the stretch of highway back home. |
